Originally founded as Mann Publishing Group in 2001 to publish printed technical content, we have authored and published many books about Microsoft technologies, and the quality of our work even earned us some contracts by Microsoft for other books. We have continued to work for Microsoft by writing many technical articles, whitepapers, exams, guides and help files. Having that technical knowledge and experience made it a natural move into supporting those technologies and managing the communities where those technical conversations were happening. For the last 10 years, we have managed some of the largest of Microsoft’s communities and even helped to create some of the guidelines that are used for all Microsoft communities. Meanwhile, our expertise in these technologies allowed us to expand into design, development, content creation and support for other large companies such as Thermo Fisher Scientific, Docusign and ProAmpac. During this time, we found that the name ‘Mann Publishing Group’ no longer properly represented the direction our company had taken and the services that we offer, so we became ‘Corporate Online Services’.
